Driver Rushed To Hospital After Accident

Bandar Seri Begawan - Two cars collided along Muara-Tutong highway at around 5pm last Monday.

The driver of the badly-damaged vehicle was rushed to Tutong Hospital by an ambulance, -while the driver and woman passenger in the other car escaped injuries.

Eyewitnesses claimed that one of the cars travelling from Tutong went out of control and slammed into the rear of the other car which was heading in the same direction towards Bandar Seri Begawan.

Due to the impact, the car at the back veered off the road, rammed into the side of the safety barrier and plunged into the bushes.

A Tutong Fire and Rescue team was swiftly deployed to the scene after receiving a distress call from drivers who passed the accident site. Tutong police personnel were at the scene to ensure the smooth flow of traffic.-- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
