Empire Country Club's Hit Family Beach BBQ

Bandar Seri Begawan - More than 400 members of The Empire Country Club and their family members were recently treated to a family beach BBQ at its Marine Centre and West Beach.

It was third such gathering held this year and also present were key management team members who were at hand to welcome and mingle with all guests, stated a press release.

"I am truly delighted with the response for this event. It was truly the most successful one for the club this year.

"This is a great opportunity for our members to get to know each other and socialise in a great setting. We are delighted to hear their positive comments," said Brett Burton, The Empire Country Club Manager.

The reception was a casual affair with first-rate dining and lives cooking stations. Children and adults alike were entertained throughout with bouncers, beach soccer, banana boat rides, beach games, a splash maze and a live Salsa band among many others.

All guests were encouraged to come in beach attire and special awards were presented to the best dressed. The event was also supported by Scuba-Tech International.-- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
