3 Accidents In 1 Hour At Jalan Tengah Seria

Bandar Seri Begawan - Long queues of cars were seen along Jalan Tengah Seria yesterday afternoon after three car accidents occurred within an hour at different spots nearby.

Many motorists turned back and sought an alternative route to avoid the traffic jam which started after 4pm and eased only about an hour later. Police were seen at the three accident spots to conduct investigations and control the traffic.

No injuries were reported in the road accidents. Witnesses said the slippery road conditions due to slight rain earlier could have contributed to the three road mishaps yesterday.

One of the drivers whose vehicle was involved in a collision claimed that a motorist ahead of him braked suddenly but he was unable to stop in time. The accidents happened along the road within the G10 housing, across a supermarket and G5 Canadian Housing. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
