4 RBAF Senior Officers Promoted

Bandar Seri Begawan - With the consent of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Pehin Dam Lailaraja Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Md Yussof, Commander Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), announced that four senior officers of the RBAF have been promoted.

The promotion ceremony took place yesterday morning at the Officers Mess, Bolkiah Garrison.

The RBAF officers are: Promoted to Colonel (Substantive) - Lt Colonel Hj Yussof bin Hj Abd Rahman, Promoted to Colonel (Local) - Lt Colonel Pg Zulkifli bin Pg Ismail and Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Lt Colonel Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah, and Promoted to Acting Lieutenant Colonel - Major (U) Abu Bakar bin Hj Metassim. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
