School Marks End Of Year With Prize Presentation

Bandar Seri Begawan - Kuala Belait Primary School recently celebrated the end of the school year with a presentation of prizes to 152 school-achievers in a ceremony.

Present as guest of honour was Operation B Belait District branch Commanding Officer Awg Abdul Aziz bin Hj Mohamad.

All students who achieved first to third places, from Pre level to Primary Six, received gifts and certificates. Awards were also presented to six school students who achieved 5 `As and the remaining 32 students who obtained 1 `A's to -4 `As to mark the school's achievement as the best primary school in the Belait District to pass the Penilaian Sekolah Rendah (PSR) examinations.

Initiative prizes were also given to students who excelled in religious studies, participated in religious competitions, borrowing the most books and for attendance.-- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
