Limkokwing Students To Host 'Let's Get Creative Kuching'

Kuching - Students of Limkokwing Kuching Campus, situated at the Travilion Commercial Centre, will be hosting a "Let's Get Creative Kuching" event from December 14 to December 16.

The three-day event will comprise innovative workshops which would introduce students to the exciting world of multimedia, design, architecture, interior design, communications, broadcasting; business and information technology.

According to the campus spokesperson, at the workshops students would come to know of the highly charged career options available in various fields and how they can acquire the skills they need for the job they want.

The event will be highlighted by a "Celebration of Creativity" on December 16 from 7.30pm onwards, with performances by the Funny Rabbits, Shaq and upcoming recording artiste, who is also a Limkokwing student.

"An exciting fashion show featuring the latest designs by Centrefold from the department of Fashion and Retail Design will also be held," she said.

She also added, to participate in the event students would have to pay a registration fee of RM10. For those who register during the three-day event will get a 20 per cent booking prize for the February intake.

In addition, all those who participate would receive a certification of participation. Students wishing to take part are encouraged to register as soon as possible as places are limited, she said.-- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
