Extraordinary Banana Tree

Bandar Seri Begawan - A local plantation owner was astonished to see that a banana tree, locally known as `Pisang Kapas' which he planted, re-produced another stalk and bore another fruit even though it had been chopped off.

Hj Hussein bin Hj Hassan of Kg Kiudang who loves to farm discovered the phenomenon when he visited his plantation two days ago.-- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
