Brunei At Asean Schools Sports
Council Meet

Begawan - Two senior officials from the Education
Co-curriculum Department, Ministry of Education will be attending
the 43rd Management Committee Meeting and 54' Technical Committee
Meeting of Asean Schools Sports Council in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
from Dee 4 to 7.

Arsad bin Abdul Adis, Director of Education Co-curriculum Department
arld Haji Abang Rashidi bin Haji Abang Suhaili, ECA Officer will be
attending the meeting.
The aims of the Asean Schools
Sports Council are to encourage cooperation, foster the relation and
understanding among the students of the Asean members through sports
activities, students exchange programme and educational visits.
Among the agenda to be discussed in
the meeting will be the 2006 Sports Activities report and voting for
host country for the 2007-2008 sports events, followed by the
financial reports for Asean Schools, Sports Council 2004-2005 from
Brunei delegates. Brunei Darussalam has been a member of the Sports
Council since 1984.
