Star Search And Charity Car Wash At Sheraton Utama By Huraizah Ahmad

Bandar Seri Begawan - Sheraton Utama's associates organised a 'Star Finder' while the Sheraton Social and Sports Club organised a car wash for the Starwood Associates Relief Fund recently.

Two representatives from each department searched for `stars' yesterday, which were pledged with monetary value by the Heads of Department. The more stars found by associates, the more donations were added into the fund.

To make the `Star Finder' activity more exciting, associates who collected the most hidden stars would win a hamper. Emerging winners were associates from the Food & Beverage department, Catalina Padre Juan and Mohd Fevian Hj Zainal Abidin. The prize was presented by Datin Hjh Zainah Bujang, General Manager of Sheraton Utama.

Associates also supported the charity car wash organised by the Sheraton Sports and Social Club, which charged $3 per car. This event was also another activity to encourage associates to donate to the fund.

The Starwood Associates Relief Fund is a global Starwood Hotels and Resorts initiative. It is an ongoing fund that will provide support to Starwood Associates who might face unexpected hardship due to situations or events that may arise. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
