The event was organised by the

The six-day programme is among the
annual activities under the centre's calendar, co-organised with the

with the end of year school break.
Around 50 students from five
secondary schools from across the nation are taking part in the
programme. It is tailored for students in Secondary Four, where 10
students from selected schools are to stay "in-house" at the
Entrepreneurs Inn at the centre.
The students were selected based on
their taken subjects, especially those in the commercial stream,
including commercial studies and accountancy which are related to
the field of entrepreneurship.
To balance the programme to the
current needs, it has been put together with various mental and
physical aspects which include lectures, briefing, workshops,
visits, group entrepreneurship activities as well as sport
activities.
Among the objectives of the
programme are to promote the spirit of entrepreneurship among
students, to help bring interests as well as confidence on the
importance of global business and strengthen ties among the students
from across the country.
In conjunction with the event, a
mini-exhibition was also held at the centre. Around 33 businesses of
the small and medium enterprises incubation programme, producing
local goods in agriculture, fishing, manufacturing and services, are
also participating in the event.-- Courtesy of Borneo
