Camping Experience For Local Youths

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Department of Youth and Sports Tutong branch, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports is organising an `Active Youth Camp', in collaboration with Tutong District Scouts Association, during the end of year school break.

The `Active Youth Camp' will be take place at Taman Rekreasi Sungai Basong, Tutong from December 13 to December 15.

It is open to youths aged between 15 and 25 years old residing in Tutong. Forms are available at the Department of Youth and Sport, Youth Section, Tutong District branch and must be returned completed by 3pm, December 6.

According to the organising associations, the objective of the youth camp is to provide a productive activity, especially for youths during the school break, which will give youths camping experience and fill up their free time productively with welfare work.

It also hoped to lead towards self-awareness and feeling responsibility to oneself, religion, countrymen and the nation, as well as to test and strengthen the youths' mental and physical capacity.-- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
