Pengkalan Batu Schools Award Top Students

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Pengkalan Batu primary and religious schools recently awarded over 80 of its top students from Primary One to Primary Six during a prize presentation ceremony held at the primary school's multipurpose hall.

Guest of honour at the event was Acting Supervisor Brunei Zone 11 and IV, Hj Abdul Wahab bin Hj Ismail.

Also attending event was the Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office, Awg Hj Abdul Aziz bin OKML Hj Yusof in his capacity as chairman of the school's Parents-Teachers Association. Pengkalan Batu Primary School Headmaster Hj Umar bin Hj Mohammad, and Pengkalan Batu Religious School Headmistress Hjh Zaliha bte Md Zin, also attended the event.

The guest of honour, headmaster and headmistress presented certificates and prizes to the school's top students. The event was aimed at motivating students to excel academically and in various activities. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
