Brunei Ford Ranger Trans Sabah For
Adventure Seekers
By Lyna Mohamad & Yusrin Junaidi
Bandar Seri
Begawan - Brunei's very own Ford Ranger enthusiasts who share
a common interest for the thrill of an adventurous trip and
"roughing it" with their heavily customised Ford Ranger will be
going on a self-organised Brunei Ford Ranger Trans Sabah 2006 trip.
The six-day and five-night
adventure trip will flag-off from Premier Automobile, Ford Dealer
here, on Dec 4 and will return home on Dec 9.
Their first stop will be at
Keningau in Sabah where they will leave for Tawau early the
following morning. From Tawau, the convoy will then head to Sandakan
then to Kudat and finally to Kota Kinabalu before heading home to
Brunei.
Yesterday, the participants
gathered at Premier Automobile for their first get-together,
numbering and naming of the participating Ford vehicles.
Among those present from the
management of Premier Automobile was its Managing Director, Teng
Chee Khiong, who despite his busy schedule took some time off to
attend the event and mingle with the participants.
Also present were Sales Manager
Teng Chee How and Marketing Executive Adeline Teng, where Mr Chee
How officiated the labelling of stickers on the participating
vehicles.
In support of the initiative by the
Ford Rangers customers in organising the trip, Premier Automobile is
providing the participating vehicles free servicing and general
vehicle check up as well as car stickers for each of the cars
allocated with their respective names and numbers for easy
communication during the off-road trip.
On top of that, the dealer is also
generously inviting several media representatives from several
newspapers here to cover the trip and join in the adventurous
experience.-- Courtesy of Borneo
