Royal Messages To Laos, UAE

Bandar Seri Begawan - His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam consented to send congratulatory messages to Mr Choummaly Savasone, the President of Lao People's Democratic Republic, and Mr Bouasone Bouphavanh, the Prime Minister of Lao PDR on the occasion of the national day of Lao PDR.

In his message, His Majesty expressed his satisfaction with the warm and friendly relations and deep understanding between Brunei and Lao PDR at the bilateral level and in Asean, regional and international fora. His Majesty hopes that this would be maintained and enhanced in the future for the good of the two countries and peoples. His Majesty also hoped that Mr Choummaly Sayasorte, the President of Lao PDR would always remain in good health and happiness and for the people of Laos to always enjoy continued progress and prosperity.

At the same time, in a similar congratulatory message to Mr Bouasone Bouphavanh, His Majesty congratulated him and the government and people of Laos on the occasion of the national day anniversary of Lao PDR.

His Majesty expressed his satisfaction with the warm and friendly relations between the two countries and expressed his wish that this would be maintained, and enhanced in the future for the mutual benefit of the two countries and peoples.

His Majesty also wished Mr Bouphavanh his continued good health and happiness and the prosperity of the people of Laos. Meanwhile His Majesty also sent congratulatory messages to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahayan, President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid AI-Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and the Ruler of Dubai on the occasion of the national day' of UAE. In his message, His Majesty greatly valued the warm and friendly relations and deep understanding between Brunei and UAE. His Majesty prayed that this would be maintained and enhanced in the future for the good of the two countries and people. His Majesty also prayed to Allah that His Highness would always be in good health and happiness and for the people of UAE to always enjoy good progress and prosperity.

At the same time, in a congratulatory message to His Highness Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai, His Majesty congratulated His Highness and the government and people of the UAE on the occasion of the national day of the UAE.

Meanwhile, His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign' Affairs and Trade of Brunei Darussalam sent similar congrafulatory messages to his counterpart, Mr Thongloun Sisoulith, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lao PDR on the occasion of the national day of the Lao PDR. HRH sent his warmest congratulations and best wishes to Mr Sisoulith, the government and people of the Lao PDR on the occasion, and looked forward to strengthening friendship and cooperation, both bilaterally and as partners in Asean. HRH also sent congratulatory message to his counterparts, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of UAE on the national day of UAE.

HRH warmly congratulated His Highness, the government and people of UAE on their national day and appreciated the longstanding friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
