US Embassy Improves Services

Bandar Seri Begawan – The US Embassy in Brunei Darussalam has implemented an appointment system for the American Citizen services.

This will ensure that an officer is always available to assist clients as well as a prompt and hassle-free service for US residents in the Sultanate.

Appointments are now required for the American citizen registrations, passport issuances and pages, reports of birth Abroad, notaries and other services.

Appointments can be made by calling 222-0384 (ext. 111) or e-mailing Consular Brunei@state.gov.

The embassy would also be available to answer any enquiries on consular matters throughout the working day.

US citizens are also welcome to drop by the embassy between Ipm and 4pm from Monday to Friday.

Meanwhile, the duty officer is also available 24 hours a day to assist Americans in any emergency. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
