By Rosli Abidin Yahya

Bandar Seri Begawan – Representatives of the US Embassy in Brunei Darussalam yesterday met with executive committee members of the Consumers Association of Brunei Darussalam (CAB) at Sheraton Hotel, in carrying out the US government policy to maintain relation with civil society.

US Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission Jeffrey J Hawkins said that he visited nongovernmental organisations (NGOs) like political parties and CAB as he was interested to know what Bruneians have to say.

Accompanied by US Embassy Political and Military Assistant Siti Maszuraimah Hj Mahmud, the pair were met by CAB President Hj Shadoon Hj Lamzi, Special Assistant to the President Hidup Hj Ahmad, and Deputy Secretary General Tahir Hj Lahid.
