Heavy Rain Flooding Main Roads, Drivers Cautioned

Bandar Seri Begawan – Unpredictable weather conditions and heavy downpours of late have resulted in several low-laying areas in the district to experience flood.

Amongst those affected are Kg Penapar, Layong, and around Kg Bukit Udal.

There are also floods reaching half a metre on various main roads between Jalan Bukit Udal leading to Kg Ukong and Jalan Kecil Takayud.

Members of the public are advised to be careful while driving along these roads and areas to prevent any mishaps from occurring, especially at night. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
