Getting Edgy on the Road

Bandar Seri Begawan – A young pregnant woman driver was subjected to stress and fear after she was involved in an accident with a motorcyclist a few nights ago when the rider became aggressive and allegedly wanted to punch her, according to eyewitnesses.

The accident occurred along Jalan Gadong when the woman was about to make a turn into a junction. The motorcyclist who had allegedly been tailgating her slammed into the vehicle.

According to eyewitnesses, the motorcyclist was in a state of fury. They said that the woman was frightened when the motorcyclist approached her. She did not get out of her vehicle until the police had arrived, they added.

Observers strongly believe that there is no need for one to burst out mad, especially during road accidents.

They advised adding extra time to an anticipated trip to allow for delays, showing courtesy to other drivers even if they do not, allowing yourself time and space to react to other driver's behaviour and not taking traffic problems personally. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
