Last Pilgrims For Medina

Bandar Seri Begawan – The last haj fight of the current haj season left for Medina yesterday to join the rest of the country's pilgrims who are now in Mecca, RTB reported.

The more than 170 haj pilgrims comprise those taking packages of the Darussalam Holdings Sdn Bhd, Humaira Travel Centre Sdn Bhd, Tenaga Travel Agency and H.T.H Travel Agency.

Brunei's haj pilgrims totaling more than 900 people will be joining around two million haj pilgrims from around the world in Mecca.

Present at Brunei International Airport to bid farewell, to the intending pilgrims was the Minister of Religious Affairs, Pehin Dato Dr Ustaz Hj Awang Mohammad Zain. The first haj flight is scheduled to be back in Brunei on January 16, 2006. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
