International Seminar On Al-Shafi'i Legislation

Bandar Seri Begawan – The Syariah Department with cooperation of the Shafi'i Sect Research Department, Institut Pengajian Islam Sultan OmarAli Saifuddien (IPISHOAS), will be organising an International Seminar on Al-Shafi'i legislation on January 18 and 19, next year at UBD Chancellor Hall.

The seminar, entitled "Pengukuhan dan Penghayatan Pemikiran Perunangan Mazhab Shafi'i Dalam Era Globalisasi", will discuss several issues related to the laws and studies of AI-Shaf'i Sect in the era of globalisation. The focus of the discussion will be on Al-Shafii .Imam related to the Al-Quran and Sunnah that makes up two important resources in the laws of Islam, which cover different views about the al-filth motion.

The topics are related to the idea, ways and thoughts of Al-Shari'i cendaikawan using experience in globalisation transition to analyse Islam education issues, economy and finance as well as health to be the main discussion topic.
