Examinations For Government Officers

Bandar Seri Begawan – The Public Service Department held a General Orders Examination yesterday for 1,382 government officers in the B.3/ B.2/ B.2 EB.3 salary scale at the Chancellor Hall of Universiti Brunei Darussalam.

Another examination, Financial Regulations, will be held tomorrow, December 25 at the same venue.

The examinations held twice a year in June and December are part of the requirements for promotion to the B.3 salary scale or its equivalent as stated in the Public Service Circular 7/2005 which came into effect on May 31, 2005.

The number of candidates sitting for the examinations this year is reported to be the highest recorded so far. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
