Tamoi Tengah Walkway, Piers Renovated

Bandar Seri Begawan – The main walkway and two water taxi piers of Tamoi Tengah water village were recently renovated under an initiative by His Majesty's government through the district office.

This is in line with the village's status as a living showcase of traditional lifestyles of the water village, which is a major tourist attraction in Brunei.

Repair works on the two piers are complete while the walkway is still being renovated. Residents are advised to bear with any inconvenience caused by the ongoing projects.

The new walkway has been expanded by two feet to accommodate passers-by and tourists who flock to the village. The district office is sponsoring most of the project, with additional donations coming from private individuals. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
