HM Sends Congrats To Japan

Bandar Seri Begawan - His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei expressed his satisfaction with the warm and friendly relations and deep understanding that have long been established between Brunei and Japan.

His Majesty hoped that this would be maintained and enhanced in the future for the good of the two countries and the people of both nations.

This was conveyed in His Majesty's congratulatory messages to His Imperial Majesty Akihito of Japan and to Mr Junichiro Koizumi, the Prime Minister, on the occasion of the Emperor's Birthday.

In the message; His Majesty also hoped that the Emperor of Japan would remain well and happy and for the people to always enjoy continued progress and prosperity.
