Moe's Stern Action On School Bus River Lauded

Bandar Seri Begawan – Parents of one of the secondary schools in the Tutong District applauded the quick and stern action taken by the Transportation Unit of the Ministry of Education in suspending a local bus driver for violating rules and regulations.

The driver of a private school bus hired by the government was found not sending some of the pupils to school but instead helping the students to escape from school.

One of the parents reported the matter to the Tutong Police Department and the driver was immediately called to the Tutong Transportation Unit, MoE and he confessed his wrongdoing. The driver was suspended from driving any school buses under the Ministry of Education.

Parents were pleased over the quick and stern action taken by the department over the matter and such moves will serve as a warning to I other school bus drivers to abide by their rules and regulations. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
