His Majesty Sends Congratulatory Message To Emperor Of Japan

Bandar Seri Begawan – His Majesty the Sultan and Yang DiPertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send congratulatory messages to His Imperial Majesty Akihito, the Emperor of Japan and Junichiro Koizumi, the Prime Minister of Japan on the occasion of the Emperor's birthday.

In his message, His Majesty expressed his satisfaction with the warm and friendly relations and deep understanding that had so long been established between Brunei Darussalam and Japan.

His Majesty hopes that this would be maintained and enhanced in the future for the good of the two countries and people.

His Majesty also hopes that His Imperial Majesty Akihito would always remain in good health and happiness for the people of Japan to always enjoy continued progress and prosperity.

His Majesty also congratulates Mr Koizumi and the government and people of Japan on the occasion of the Emperor's Birthday.

His Majesty expressed his satisfaction with the warm and friendly relations that had been long established between the two countries. His Majesty also expressed his wish that this will be maintained and enhanced in the future for the mutual benefit of the two countries and people. His Majesty also wishes Mr Koizumi his continued good health and happiness and for the prosperity of the. people of Japan.

In another message, HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Brunei Darussalam sent a congratulatory message to Japan's Foreign Minister Mr Taro Aso.
