Indian National Charged With Fatally Stabbing Man

Bandar Seri Begawan – An Indian national was brought to the Bandar Magistrates' Court yesterday for allegedly stabbing to death a 41year-old man three months ago.

No plea was taken yesterday.

The defendant, Subbiah Senthil Kumar, 37, was charged with stabbing Ganesan Ragavan to death with a knife between 9.30pm and 9.45pm on October 13, this year at the worker's kitchen area of Syarikat Hasbullah & Daud Co, Sungai Akar Camp.

This is an offence under section 304A (2) of the Penal Code that carries imprisonment for a term that may extend to five years and a fine.

The case is fixed for mention again on January 3, next year. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
