Brunet Link To USA Affected By Repairs In China

Bandar Seri Begawan – Jabatan Telekom Brunei informed its customers that repair works are currently being done on the SEA ME WE3 cable system at Shantao, China due to a recent cable fault in the area. This will affect BruNet's Internet Iink to Teleglobe USA. The repair work, which started December 21, is expected to last until December 25. All Internet traffic will be routed to JTB's 155Mbps link to TM-Hongkong.

BruNet customers may experience slowness in surfing or downloading files from the Internet during this period especially during peak hours.
