SMS! Then Two Missing At Sea

Bandar Seri Begawan - It was a dramatic SMS -'boat capsize!' One of the two people who went fishing off Jerudong beach on Sunday, managed to send a text message to his family.

The victims are said to be a Navy personnel from Kg Jerudong and his companion from a neighbouring village. Both are in their 30s, married with four and two children respectively. At 7.30pm yesterday, the duo still has not been found. The naval search by air and sea included help from the Brunei Shell Petroleum.

The operation was launched when the victims' family alerted the authorities when they failed to get through the victims' hand phones. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
