Telisai Scouts Camp Draws To End

Bandar Seri Begawan - A closing ceremony was yesterday held at the Tumpuan Telisai Primary School compound to mark the end of the Telisai Scouts Camp.

The event also saw the officiating of the formation of Telisai Scouts 2013 by Kg Telisai Headman cum guest of honour Awg Hj Mohd Zun bin Haji Tajin.

The Kampong Telisai Scouts troop was founded by Cikgu Hj Othman bin Durani in 1965 - at the time boasting a total of 12 members.

In 1982, the Pengakap Serigala (Tunas) and Pengakap Muda dan Remaja was introduced to the said scouts troop. The introduction of female scout members showed the positive development of the Kg Telisai Scouts. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
