Pekira Members Called On To Join Hari Raya Aidil Adha Celebration

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Association of Former Government Officers (Pekira) called on its members to join the Hari Raya Aidil Adha celebration on January 15 next year.

Pekira executive committee members, headed by Pg Dato Hj Jeluddin bin Pg Hj Limbang, discussed the annual programme of activities for next year during the association's second meeting for the 2005-2007 session on December 14 at its headquarters.

The top of the list will be the Hari Raya Aidil Adha on January 15, 2005 at 11 am at the headquarters in Kg Anggerek Desa.

Director of information of publicity of Pekira Hj Suhaini bin Hj Md Hassan stressed the importance of the celebration which not only marks the Haj festivity but also provides a chance for Pekira members and their families as well as government officers to renew and strengthen the existing ties among them.

He also called for full support and cooperation from all Pekira members.
