Working Visit To Kuching, Kalimantan

Kuala Belait - A 74-member delegation comprising members of the Majilis Perundingan Mukim Daerah Belait made working visits to Kalimantan and Kuching in an effort to study the various procedures adopted at the two areas, which can be applied in their respective places.

Arriving from Kalimantan last Wednesday, the delegation was received by the Kuching Resident's Office Thursday.

Comprising mainly of community leaders, the visitors were hosted to a simple reception by the Kuching Resident AbangAffandi Abang Annuar at the Yayasan Sarawak building in Kuching.

The Brunei delegation led by Penghulu Kamarkan Athma also made a courtesy call to the Yang Di-Pertuan Negeri Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Abang Muhammad Salahuddin at the Astana in Kuching. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
