UBD’s Get-Up Programme Highlights Entrepreneurship Skills

Bandar Seri Begawan - The 2nd intake of Graduate Entrepreneurship Training programme organised by the Entrepreneurship Development Unit of Universiti Brunei Darussalam which began on Dec 14 came to a close yesterday.

The programme was also supported by the Student's Affairs Section of UBD.

As a continuation to the commitment shown by UBD, the GET-UP programme was designed to provide an overview about what entrepreneurial world is all about.

The programme exposed the challenges, benefits and interesting elements as well as the risks associated with entrepreneurship.

The programme highlights behavioural entrepreneurship mannerism; motivation, creating business plan and simulation game.

The guest of honour was the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Dr Awg Hj Mohd-Yusop Hj Awg Damit who mentioned that the programme was an opportunity for each student to learn the necessary business skills.

He also mentioned that UBD would create a Student Development Programme in the next semester.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
