Sabah School Delegation Calls On Minister Of Culture, Youth & Sports

Bandar Seri Begawan - Six officers from SMK Sikuati School, in Sabah, and school principal, Mr Raisin Kaloh, paid a courtesy call to the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Pehin Major General (Rtd) Dato Seri PahlawanAwg Hj' Mohd bin Hj Daud at his office in Jalan Kebangsaan.

The delegation from Sabah is in Brunei Darussalam for a four-day official visit beginning December 14. The visit will wrap up on December 17.

Upon arrival at the Games Villages, the group was greeted by Abang Zamhor bin OKPSD Abang Haji Abu Hanifah, Chairman of the Organising Committee and personnel from the Youth and Sports Department.

The Youth and Sports Department, which is the organising committee for the visit, prepared several events such as friendly sports competitions including badminton, speak takraw and netball, to be held between staff members and pupils from respective schools.

Throughout their trip, the delegation will have the opportunity to visit and explore numerous interesting locations under the Youth- and Sports Department including the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium, Indoor Stadium and National Swimming Complex in Berakas.

Apart from that, they will also visit the Malay Museum of Technology, Royal Regalia and the Youth Development Centre. SMK Sikuati is oneof the high schools, in Sabah. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
