Farewell High-Tea For Singapore Envoy

Bandar Seri Begawan - Several cabinet ministers and other senior government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, prominent businessmen, Singaporeans and associates of the Singapore High Commissioner attended a farewell high-tea reception yesterday.

Hosted by the outgoing Singapore High Commissioner, Mr Hirubalan V P and his wife, the farewell reception was held at the Singapore High Commission premises in Subok.

Mr Hirubalan who was appointed as the republic's High Commissioner here in January 2002 will return to Singapore and then assume his next post as the republic's ambassador to Saudi Arabia.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
