Brunei off to Borneo Games

The Brunei tenpin bowling and tennis teams left for Kota Kinabalu yesterday for the 1st Borneo Games from Dec 18-22. Brunei will be competing against athletes from Sarawak, Labuan and host Sabah for the right to be champions of Borneo. Brunei led by chef-de-mission Haji Haris bin Othman will be taking part in 10 sporting events namely athletics, badminton, tennis, football, hockey, tenpin bowling, rugby, sepak takraw, boxing and top spinning.
