New Tiger schedule ready

800,000 low fare Tiger Airways seats are on sale beginning today, to mark the launch of its 2006 (Northern) Summer Schedules. The seats are for travel to all Tiger Airways destinations for the period from March 26 to October 28, 2006. The start of the summer schedules also coincides with the delivery of two Airbus A320 aircraft, meaning there will be new destinations the airline has to offer its customers.

Tiger Airways CEO Tony Davis said that there are several popular travel periods during the summer schedule such as the month-long June school holidays in Singapore and regional public holidays like Good Friday and Easter, May Day, Deepavali and Hari Raya Puasa. Customers would need to book early to avoid disappointment, he added

"Savvy passengers have already booked early on when we launched Northern Winter flights for travel during Hari Raya Haji and Chines New Year in January 2006, to enjoy our low fares. They now have the opportunity to plan ahead and book now to enjoy for affordable travel for more of 2006," Davis said.
