Securicor Officers Given Road Safety Briefing

Bandar Seri Begawan - Last Saturday, more than 30 Securicor officers and staff were given a briefing on road safety by the Land Transport Department together with the Royal Brunei Police Force.

The participants were shown road accident statistics and briefed on the main causes of road accidents in Brunei including the legal and statutory regulations implication on the use of vehicles.

The briefing concluded with a discussion and clarification of various issues on road safety.

The .road safety briefing formed part of Securicor's extensive training programme for security officers.

All training by Securicor includes both theoretical and practical examples and is based on practical needs in preparation for any situations, which may arise.

Securicor provides its employees with training and real life demonstrations to promote awareness and accident prevention.

In addition, Securicor also trains all officers in first aid, CPR, evacuation procedures, conflict management and emergency procedures.

Under the supervision of an experienced trainer, Securicor officers were able to receive the finest possible training, allowing them the opportunity to upgrade their current skills.
