Public Works Dept Holds Doa Selamat For Pilgrims

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Public Works Department yesterday held a doa selamat for its staff who are set to perform Haj in Mecca at the Government Office Complex at the Old Airport Road.

The guest of honour at the ceremony was Acting Deputy Head of Director of Public Works

Department Awg Hj Suhaimi bin Hj Gafar. The event was aimed at enhancing relations among staff members as well as to honour the 19 pilgrims from various sections of the department.

A special religious talk was also held, presented by Ustaz Awg Hj Mail bin Besar of the Islamic Dakwah Centre. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
