MOE Holds 'Doa Selamat' For Intending Haj Pilgrims

Bandar Seri Begawan - Some one hundred and nine staff under the Ministry of Education will be leaving the country this year to perform the Haj in the Holy city of Mecca.

The 'Doa Selamat' - ceremony to bless the intending Haj pilgrims was held yesterday afternoon at the Ministry's Conference Room.

Present as guest of honour at the ceremony was the Minister of Education, YB Pehin Dato Seri Setia Hj Awg Abdul Rahman Ustaz Hj Ismail bin Md Arif from the Islamic Dakwah Centre gave a talk for the intending pilgrims yesterday. He highlighted several matters pertaining the Haj pilgrimage.

The ceremony was blessed with the recital of the Surah al-Fatihah followed by the Doa Selamat. The ceremony was further highlighted with the presentation of contributions made to the intending Haj pilgrims.
