Simon Gelan Golf Meet

Bandar Seri Begawan – Pehin Dato Hj Md Yusof and Kol (R) Hj Aziz Abdullah emerged as the overall nett and gross winner in the Simon Gelan Golf Tournament at RBA Golf Club yesterday.

Pehin Dato Hj Md Yusof carded a nett score of 65 while Kol (R) Hj Aziz Abdullah returned a total gross of 77.

In the Division `A' nett (age 50 to 59), Hj Jaafar Latif was the winner with nett 68. He was followed by William Yap (69), Md Shahrir Mohsin (71), Hj Brahim Hj Jumaat (71) and Hj Bagol Hj Momin (71).

Awg Hj Damit Osman emerged as the winner of the Division `B' nett (60 and above) after he carded a nett score of 66. He was followed by Dato Hj

Ismail Rahim (68), Dato Job Lim (71), Pg Dato Hj Mustapha (71) and Jimmy Voon (71).

Jimmy Voon won himself the novelty prize in the nearest to pin at hole number 2, Hj Mohammad Ismail (hole number 5), Dato Hj Ismail Rahim (hole number 12) and Pg Dato Hj Abidin (hole number 14).

Around 60 golfers took part in the meet organised by Brunei DarussalamAssociation of Senior Golfers and sponsored by Simon Gelan in conjunction with his birthday.

On hand to present the prizes to overall nett and gross winners was Simon Gelan, while Pg Dato Hj Abidin, the Chairman of the BDASG gave away the prizes to the Division A and B winners.
