Residents Cry Foul Over Poor Drainage

Bandar Seri Begawan – Residents of Kampong Batu Ampar in Mukim Pangkalan Batu called on the authority concerned to improve the poor drainage system in their area, as mud and sand have taken up the drains there.

Dayang Halimah, one of the residents of Kampong Batu Ampar, said that the drainage system has worsened every time a mudslide occurred during the prevailing rainy season, and the junction road would be flooded with water and mud, causing inconveniences to road users there.
