Loughborough University Offers Scholarships

Bandar Seri Begawan - The University of Loughborough will be offering over 100 scholarships to new self-financing full-time international undergraduate and postgraduate students for studies commencing in the 2006/7 session.

These scholarships, to the value of 25 percent of the programme tuition fee, will be credited to students' tuition fee accounts.

The Loughborough University Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of outstanding academic achievement and potential.

Each scholarship will be of one year's duration, renewable depending upon academic progress for a maximum of two further years on the same programme.

All international undergraduate applicants will automatically be considered for a Loughborough University scholarship.

In addition to these university scholarships, there are also departmental awards being made available to international students.

These awards-carry a value of Stg l000 to Stg 5000 and are available for the -courses of Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, English and Drama, Human Sciences, Mechanical Engineering or programmes offered through the Institute of Polymer Technology and Materials Engineering Loughborough University has been ranked among the top 15 universities for four consecutive years by the Times Higher Education Guide.

It is also ranked among the top five in the Teaching Quality for all UK universities and is - ranked second in the employability of its graduates.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
