Brunei, Indonesia MOE Officials Discuss Education System

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Ministry of Education yesterday welcomed a goodwill visit by 12 officer-, and teachers from the Ministry of Education of Indonesia with a short briefing session at Mabohai Primary School.

The briefing on the `Education System in Brunei Darussalam' was presented by Department of Schools Acting Assistant Director Haji Juna bin Jumat.

This was followed by a short discussion on issues relating to the education systems of both countries.

The visit - organised by Dinas Pendidikan Dasar Jakarta - aimed at establishing cooperative and educational ties between both ministries, as well as identifying and exchanging ideas and best practices in the educational system. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
