Brunei Impresses UK Journalists

Begawan - The Empire Hotel & Country Club hosted three
journalists from UK who were on a familiarisation trip to feature the
Sultanate as well as the Empire Hotel & Country Club as a holiday
destination.
The media trip was headed by Ms
Sandra Bloodworth - RBA's Area Manager in UK together, with the
representatives for - publications such as Real Magazine, Travel
Weekly and Take A Break.
Upon arrival, the media group was
welcomed by the Empire's Assistant PR & Marketing Manager, Ak Danny Pg
Tajuddin who also hosted a welcome dinner at Pantai Restaurant for the
group.
While in Brunei, the j ournalists
took the opportunity to visit several key tourist attractions such. as
Kampong Ayer, proboscis monkeys along the Brunei River, Sultan Omar
Ali Saifuddien Mosque, the Royal Regalia and Ulu Belalong National
Park which was hosted by RBA's Golden Touch Holidays.
The journalists also attended a hotel
tour hosted by Ak Danny Pg Tajuddin, who showed them the luxurious
rooms and suites as well as the wide range of facilities available at
the hotel.
According to one of the journalists,
"I am very impressed with the local hospitality. Brunei is a beautiful
country to experience for holidays and short visits."
Real magazine is a women's consumer
magazine, which covers travel, lifestyle, home, food, beauty, health
and real life stories. It has a circulation of 201,921.
Travel Weekly is an informative
newspaper covering the travel industry. It is read by over 80 per cent
of the UK travel trade each week. They have a circulation of 24,000.
Take A Break has been the biggest
selling women's weekly in the UK for over 13 years and it's the 4'
largest women's weekly in the world with a circulation of 1,222,774.
The Magazine covers women's interest
such as fashion, beauty, food, home, travel and more.
The Empire Hotel & Country Club-hopes
that through their wonderful experience, more visitors from the UK
will travel and visit Brunei.
