Closing Ceremony For Scouts' Charity Walk

Bandar Seri Begawan - The closing ceremony was held recently for a charity walk organised by the Kelana 3030 scouts contingent of Mukim Liang.

Present as chief guest at the Community Hall of Kg Sungai Liang was Assistant Belait District Officer, Hj Ali Matyassin.

One hundred and eight participants took part in the walk that covered 64 km in three days and nights.

They stayed at the Persatuan Sang Jati Dusun Hall in Bukit Udal, Kg Tasek Merimbun's Community Hall and Multi-purpose Hall of Kg Merangking.

One of its objectives was to collect donations for the association and welfare of communities in Mukim Liang. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
