Certificates For 120 Nurses

Bandar Seri Begawan - Some 120 nurses yesterday received certificates of participation during a ceremony held at the RIPAS Hospital Nursing Education' nit.

Aimed at upgrading knowledge and skills, the four courses focused on midwifery, Stress Management Workshop, Electrocardiogram Workshop and Mentorship Workshop.

In her welcoming address, Nursing Services Director cum guest of honour Pengiran Hajah Azizah binti Pengiran Haji Tajuddin congratulated participants for completing the courses.

The workshops and courses are catered to provide nurses with skills and an indepth understanding in treatment techniques, while also equipping them with the latest developments and up-to-date medical advances.

The guest of honour believes that on top of strengthening the understanding among participants, the courses also provided them an opportunity to interact.

She also expressed hopes that participants will continuously upgrade themselves with a positive attitude, open mind, honesty and commitment.

Acting on behalf of the participants, Dayang Juriani Udan expressed her gratitude towards lecturers and the Nursing Services Department for organising the various courses.

Later, Pengiran Hajah Azizah binti Pengiran Haji Tajuddin presented the certificates to the 120 participants.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
