Appreciation Ceremony For Teachers

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit Arabic Religious Secondary School for Girls (SUAMPRIPAD) on Thursday held an appreciation ceremony for teachers in conjunction with the Hari Raya celebrations in one of the hotels in Gadong.

Organised by SUAMPRIPAD's Teachers' Welfare Fund Body, the ceremony was attended by more than 80 teachers with their families.

On hand to present tokens of appreciation to teachers, who have left the school and those who have departed for further studies was SUAMPRIPAD's Principal, Ustazah Datin Piah binti Hj Mohd Saat.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, the school launched its first magazine "An-Nur". The glossy, colourful magazine marks the culmination of many months of effort by the school's Students' Literature and Language Body and was very well received by the school's citizens. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
