Man Charged With Stealing From Handicraft Centre

Bandar Seri Begawan - A man is being held in remand for a week since yesterday for allegations of stealing items from the Brunei Handicraft Centre in the capital.

The Bandar Magistrates' Court charged Hj Kamis Hj Mohd Zain, 40, with thieving two pieces of copper cannons and two pieces of copper pots from the government building on August 25, this year.

The defendant will be produced in court again on December 10 pending further investigations into the case. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
