Woman Jailed For Vice

Bandar Seri Begawan - An Indonesian woman was jailed for two months after pleading guilty to prostitution in the Bandar Magistrates' Court yesterday.

Supayah, 45, was caught undressed in a hotel room in the capital with a man when Gadong HQ Anti-Vice police raided the room on the afternoon of December 1.

Personnel found some condoms in the room and a B$50 note in the defendant's handbag.

She was brought in for investigation and admitted to the offence. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
