Secondary School Holds Staff Dinner & Raya Celebration

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Secondary School in Mentiri held an annual end-of-year staff dinner and Hari Raya celebration recently. The event took place at the Millenium Restaurant in Gadong.

The function was attended by the school's Principal, Madam Tan Lian Lian@Mrs Mooi, the school's teaching staff and their spouses.

The memorable celebration also featured a number of interesting games organised by the school's celebration committee which included a lucky draw with 99 prizes up for grabs.

The prizes also included a grand prize of return air tickets to Kuala Lumpur for two during the March school holidays and a one-night stay at the Holiday Lodge.

Most of the prizes were sponsored by private companies and retail outlets including Eternal Spa, Kathy Chai Hair Studio, Millenium Restaurant and Charles & Keith Shoes. The school expressed its thanks to the sponsors. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
